It’s been about three months since our last update on a few construction projects around the area. Let’s see where things stand today with two of the more prominent sites in the neighborhood.

*************

Curbed brings news of a proposal before the Planning Commission today to turn “Parcel H” (currently a parking lot at the northwest corner of Grove and Gough), into a 4- to 5-story mixed use building. The construction, rendered above, would have 34 residential units, 4 of which would be below market rate. It would also boast 17 parking spaces and lots of ground floor retail space.

If you have a strong feeling on this one and would like to make your voice heard, swing by today’s hearing, which starts at noon in Room 400 of City Hall.

Meanwhile, just a block south, construction on the development at 300 Ivy is well underway. When completed, it will include 63 residential units, a green roof, and enclosed bicycle parking, among other features. It also has a spiffy new website. Sales will start this Spring, with occupancy slated for the Fall.

We’ll keep track of these and all other projects in Hayes Valley, and will keep you updated in the months ahead.
