Nojo, the Japanese restaurant at the corner of Franklin and Linden, is preparing to start a regular lunch service next month.
Nojo opened in March of 2011, but until now has only been open for dinner and Sunday brunch service. But beginning in February, they’ll be adding counter service on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 11:30am to 2pm. They’ll also be extending their brunch service to Saturdays, from 11am to 2:30pm.
A draft version of the lunch menu includes about a dozen items that also appear on the dinner menu, like salads, mushroom tempura, and katsudon. There’s also the nojo hamburger, and their signature bacon-wrapped hot dog. Any dish can be made into a “set” by adding miso soup, tsukemono, and steamed rice.
No exact date has been announced for the lunch launch yet, but it’ll happen some time in February. You can visit Nojo’s website for more information.
