The flagship Timbuk2 store at 506 Hayes Street has just gotten a spiffy redesign, and they want to celebrate — with you.
The SF-based bag maker partnered with local design firm Form3 for the project. The result is a sleek redesign incorporating Douglas Fir paneling, handmade bag display fixtures, and a magnetic hand-welded wall to host seasonal fabric swatches. The grand re-opening party takes place this Friday night, December 7th, from 6pm to 9pm during the Hayes Valley Holiday Block Party. There will be complimentary beer, a photo booth, and of course shopping, with a 25% discount on classic messenger bags. The event is 21+, and it’s free.
